What must I do to get saved:
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ (God's son) and you will be saved. Acts 16:31
The fact of sin:
For all have sinned (ex: lying, stealing, sexual lust, and/or using Jesus' name as a swear word) and come short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23
The penalty of sin:
For the wages of sin (what you will earn) is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ . Romans 6:23
Payment God made for your sin:
God commanded His love for us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
Him (Jesus Christ) God raised up from the dead on the third day, and showed Him openly. Acts 10:40
Where God's love leads:
The goodness of God leads you to repentance. Romans 2:4b
Confession of Christ:
For if you confess with your mouth (pray) the Lord Jesus Christ, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved.
For with the heart man believes unto righteousness: and with the mouth confession is made onto salvation.
For the scripture says, whoever believes on Him (Jesus Christ) shall not be ashamed.
For there is no difference between anyone; for the same Lord (Christ) over all is rich to all that call upon Him.
For whoever calls upon the name of the Lord (Jesus Christ) shall be saved. Romans 10:9-13
We can not meet God's standards ourselves. We need someone to pay the price for our sin. The someone is Jesus Christ. Will you call (pray) to the Lord Jesus Christ to come into your heart and save you now?
To do so pray this simple prayer:
"Dear God, I acknowledge that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. I believe that He died on the cross, that His blood was shed for my sins and that He arose from the dead. I confess that I have disobeyed your commandments, that I have sinned. I ask you to forgive me for these sins. I now ask Jesus to come into my heart. I ask you to save me and live in my life. To be my Lord and Savior. I will do my best to obey your teachings as recorded in the Holy Bible. Thank you, in Jesus' name. Amen."
